Every printer is different. As we gather more information on the types of printers that people are using to print our sticker templates we will add more information to this page to keep it up to date. While the sticker templates have been designed to allow for some movement caused by different printers, some basic steps should be followed to ensure the best result is achieved.
We recommend using a laser printer to print the sticker templates, the Avery labels these stickers have been designed for are capable of printing using a laser printer.
All sticker templates are created in the exact page dimensions for printing. A4 templates are 297 x 210 mm and US letter templates are 279.4 x 215.9 mm or 8 1/2 by 11 inches.
We recommend all printers should be set to print with margins of zero as this will avoid cutting off any of the sticker template when printing. Each template has an area for “bleed” which means that the colours will print past the edges of the stickers themselves to ensure full coverage.
To be sure the sticker template you are interested in will print correctly on your label sheets, you can download one of our test sheets which is a series of black squares to be printed on standard printer paper which you can then check against a label sheet to compare positions.
After checking the position of the labels is correct, make sure you print your personalized stickers using the same printer settings.
If you wish to get started straight away, and want to download one of our non-personalized templates, you can download our assorted templates free of charge! The A4 version is here and the US Letter version is here.
If you have any questions, or find that the sticker template just doesn’t print properly for you, please let us know and we will do everything in our power to help you print the stickers properly.
